Our Experience & Expertise

Cath Gordon our founder, has over 25 years’ experience in driving business development and strategic growth across the equestrian and premium brand sectors. Her career spans senior leadership roles where she has consistently delivered results by building strong sales strategies, developing markets, and positioning brands for long-term success.

As Managing Director of Albion Saddlemakers (2020–2025), Cath led the business through a successful sale to LIM Group in 2022 and managed its smooth transition under new ownership. She was instrumental in shaping Albion’s commercial strategy, strengthening global contracts, and ensuring continuity of growth during a critical phase of change.

Before Albion, Cath held senior sales and marketing positions with Toggi and Champion, two leading equestrian brands, where she developed routes to market, built distribution networks, and drove product category growth.

Earlier in her career, as Head of Country & Equestrian at Musto, Cath played a pivotal role in expanding and professionalising the category, significantly contributing to the brand’s growth trajectory and positioning ahead of its eventual sale to Helly Hansen.

This depth of experience, spanning strategic sales, market development, brand positioning, and business acquisitions — underpins the work of rapt. Consultancy today. Cath brings first-hand expertise to SMEs looking to scale, pivot, or strengthen their market presence, with a grounded, practical approach that balances vision with commercial reality.
